It's the female counterpart to another piece I have done. When I had finished the lineart I was standing before the problem of not knowing how to colour her. I didn't want to give her bis scales as I gave him and any colourscheme I could come up with was boring, so I just added some swirls to her skin, because one can never have enough swirls. ^^

These charachters belong to Sekki, someone very nice from Sheezyart. (the not wolf like tail belongs to the char) Black one is Kogen (means black and huge) White cub is Saki (means white brightness) I did an arttrade with her and this is my party. Her ones was beautifull. Please enjoy it. ^^ - Finally some time to upload somethign here. ^.^ I like this gallery- so much great art. YAY

Alcelaphus buselaphus -- AKA, Hartebeest. Strong and fast enough, awkward appearing yet solid build, unique markings, herbivore, watchful, high endurance, non-aggressive, vigorous defenders, sticks to a small herd... As an avatar, a Red Hartebeest suits me pretty well. The Chinese figure is supposed to represent determination, not sure if it is accurate. The background texture is composed of pieces of older illustrations - the clothing and such.
